Pinging URL’s

    Hi all,

    Like me, many of you probably use MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer to automatically ping a pre-defined list of URLs each time a post is made via wordpress. My problem is that not all of my web pages run via wordpress.

    I would love to be able to ping specific URL’s (as MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer does) as and when I add new static pages to my site. Does anyone have (or know of) a function which will do this?

    I’ll looking into pulling apart MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer but it would be quicker and easier if anyone else has something already!!
