After updating to the latest version, a large number of PHP warnings are now appearing in the admin panel for users with editor privileges.

Based on our observations, we suspect that this issue occurs when two or more jobs were configured in the previous version.

Could you please investigate the issue and take the necessary steps to address it?

Below are the error messages displayed:

Undefined array key 2 in /PATH/wp-admin/includes/menu.php on line 181
Undefined array key 2 in /PATH/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php on line 2010
Undefined array key 2 in /PATH/wp-admin/menu-header.php on line 155
Undefined array key 2 in /PATH/wp-admin/menu-header.php on line 156
Undefined array key 2 in /PATH/wp-admin/menu-header.php on line 164
Undefined array key 2 in /PATH/wp-admin/menu-header.php on line 171
Undefined array key 1 in /PATH/wp-admin/menu-header.php on line 202

We would appreciate it if you could check and provide a resolution.
    Thank you.

    Hi @prspyy & @blackslashcreative ,

We’re really sorry for the issues you’re facing after the update, and we appreciate you taking the time to report them.

We’ve already addressed several PHP 8.x-related warnings in version 5.0.4, and the plugin menu appearing for non-admin users will be fixed in the next release. We understand how frustrating this can be, and we’re actively working to refine the experience.

We’re also working on bringing back the ability to create and manage multiple backup jobs, so more flexibility is on the way.

If you’re still seeing these warnings or experiencing role-related issues after updating, please reach out so we can take a closer look and help resolve them.

We truly appreciate your patience and support as we continue improving BackWPup!

    The BackWPup Team
