PHP Fatal error:

Hi guys.
After updating to 26.8, one of my sites started experiencing Critical Errors on certain pages.
The error was:
[23-Jan-2026 09:35:08 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method Yoast\WP\SEO\Helpers\Crawl_Cleanup_Helper::get_instance() in /home/user/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/wp-seo-main.php:339
Stack trace: 0 /home/user/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(341): wpseo_init() 1 /home/user/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(365): WP_Hook->apply_filters() 2 /home/user/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php(522): WP_Hook->do_action() 3 /home/user/public_html/wp-settings.php(593): do_action() 4 /home/user/public_html/wp-config.php(82): require_once(‘/home/…’) 5 /home/user/public_html/wp-load.php(50): require_once(‘/home/…’) 6 /home/user/public_html/wp-blog-header.php(13): require_once(‘/home/…’) 7 /home/user/public_html/index.php(17): require(‘/home/…’) 8 {main}
thrown in /home/user/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/wp-seo-main.php on line 339I don’t think this has occurred on any of my other sites (Yoast is enabled for auto updates) but I am cautious of updating. Has anyone else seen this, and what is it?
Thanks.
