PHP code to modify footer

    This question is quite open-ended. Perhaps you can be a little more specific of what exactly you are wanting to adjust?

    To modify the footer of any theme… it is suggested to first create a Child Theme. This will allow you to make customizations to your site, without losing them when you update your theme.

    Then, you could simply take your footer.php file from your theme… move it into your child theme… and make customizations there.

    I just want to add hit counter to my footer.php
