    Hi @wujanowski,
    Thanks for your message.

Can you list the URLs for:

    • The URL you’re seeing in the email
    • The URL you’re meant to see

    Thanks,
    Jack

I am also having this issue. It appears the permalink changes http to https which might be causing the error.

This change seems to have taken place between 12/20 and 12/27—we posted a blog on 12/20 and the permalink worked properly. On 12/27, it included https://… and are directed to a default browser page saying “There is a problem with this website’s security certificate” etc…

    Hi @andersonm,
    Can you confirm the following:

    * You have an SSL certificate for your site without www.
    * You have an SSL certificate for your site with www.
    * HTTPS is enabled for the WP Admin
    * Your site URL includes https

    Thanks,
    Jack

    Hi Jack

No * You have an SSL certificate for your site without www.
No * You have an SSL certificate for your site with www.
No * HTTPS is enabled for the WP Admin
No, just http * Your site URL includes https

All our sites point to http. When permalink is generated it writes https.

Hope that helps. Thanks for your assistance.

    Hi @andersonm,
    Thanks for clarifying.

I’ve just tested this and the permalink is rendered as http on an http-only site just fine for me.

It’s possible another plugin is conflicted or a rewrite is in place that is doing something. Has your site previously been https or have you attempted to convert it to https in the past?

It might be worth going through this document to see if you can narrow down any issues with regards to https: https://betternotificationsforwp.com/how-can-i-receive-the-best-support/

Let me know how you get on?

    Thanks,
    Jack
