Paypal plus checkout problem Avada Theme

Hello everyone,
on our website we would like to use the paypal plus payment method, but after activating paypal plus as a payment method in WooCommerce, the multistep checkout of the Avada Theme don´t works anymore –> one gets to the first point of the multistep checkout process but activating paypal plus seems to delete all the links that redirect to the next steps of the checkout process (by clicking on the “continuing” button on the first page nothing happens). After deactivating paypal plus payment method everything works fine.
I would be glad if anyone could help us with that problem.

I got the following Answer from the Avada Support: “if you disable the Avada theme and check with the default WordPress 2017 theme, you’ll see the same broken checkout so that’s not an issue of Avada but their plugin so please ask them to thoroughly check and fix the issue because its not caused by Avada.”It would be great if you could help us solve this problem.
