    Hello,

we’re experiencing an issue with the WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin. The integration does not work, although we followed the setup process multiple times.

    Here are the details:

    • WooCommerce and all plugins/themes are up to date
    • JavaScript console shows no errors
    • Logging is enabled, but no logs are being generated
    • The site was previously protected via .htpasswd, but removing that had no effect
    • No visible PayPal buttons or functionality appear on the frontend

We’ve double-checked all credentials and configuration settings. Still, the PayPal integration seems completely inactive.

Could you please assist us in troubleshooting this issue?
If there are any additional diagnostic steps or logs we should collect, let us know.

    Best regards,

    Hello @mumbomedia

I’d be happy to take a closer look, but at the moment, the site is still behind basic auth, so I’m unable to access it properly. From what you described, it sounds like something is blocking the PayPal SDK from loading or initializing. Since the buttons don’t appear and there are no console errors, likely, the script is never being loaded in the first place.

To help us investigate further, please share your system status report by following these steps:

    1. Go to WooCommerce → Status in your WordPress admin area.
    2. Click the Get system report button, then click Copy for support.
    3. Paste the report into our PrivateBin.
    4. Once uploaded, send us the link here so we can review your configuration.

If you prefer, you can also reach out to our dedicated support team directly for faster assistance. Just submit your request here: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/

This way, you can safely share your basic auth credentials, as I wouldn’t recommend sharing them here.

Looking forward to your system report so we can assist you further.

    Kind Regards,
    Krystian

    Hi Krystian,

    thanks for your quick reply!

I wasn’t available last Friday, so sorry for the delayed response.

Here’s the PrivateBin link with the details:

Your message gave me a helpful hint – it might be that our CMP (Usercentrics with Smart Data Processor) is blocking the required third-party integration. I’ll dig into that and get back to you as soon as I can.

    Thanks again and best regards
    Alexander

    Hi Krystian,

    I’ve temporarily disabled Usercentrics.

Now I can see the “Pay with PayPal” and “Pay with SEPA Direct Debit” buttons.

Sometimes you just can’t see the forest for the trees. 🤦‍♂️

No further assistance needed on this.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

    Best regards,
    Alexander
