    Hi,

While the “Pay Later” and the “Debit or Credit Card” buttons work properly when someone did not accept the terms and conditions on a mobile device, the “PayPal” button does not.
The first two mentioned buttons properly display the following message on the checkout page:
Please read and accept the terms and conditions to proceed with your order.
    The “PayPal button displays instead:
Something went wrong. Please try again or choose another payment source.
    which is misleading the user.
For me this happens only on my mobile device (iPhone, Safari), desktop works fine.

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hello @loano1

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

I tested this myself on Android and my colleague tested this on his iPhone, and both got the correct response: “Please read and accept the terms and conditions to proceed with your order.”.

You may want to perform a full conflict test to rule out eventual issues with the theme or a different plugin. We recommend temporarily activating the default theme Storefront and disabling all other plugins except for WooCommerce and PayPal Payments to see if the behavior persists.

Here’s a guide that explains the steps in more detail: How to test for conflicts.

Please let us know how this works out for you.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hi @joostvandevijver,

Thank you for your immediate response. I did some testing and figured out that this issue is indeed created from a different plugin. It is caused by the WooCommerce Checkout Manager plugin from QuadLayers. I will reach out to them for a fix.

    Thank you for your help!
