Hi @igor800,
Happy to help.
It looks like you are running into two separate issues so let’s try to tackle one by one.
1. Donation confirmation page not loading.
– This happens if the Donation Confirmation page is cached or if there’s a PHP fatal error when GiveWP received the payment data from the gateway.
What you can do is:
– Disable all caching temporarily and test again
– Check your server error logs for any Fatal errors related to GiveWP
– Navigate to Donations -> Tools -> System Info, scroll down to the GiveWP Configuration section and check if any of the database tables listed there has a red X next to it.
2. Paypal not working.
– I saw several javascript errors in the browser console when I visited your donation page. This is most likely caused by a javascript conflict with another script on the page.
Try our Health Check tutorial. This can allow you to test your site with different plugins without hurting the front-end of your site at all. https://givewp.com/documentation/resources/troubleshoot-wordpress-websites-health-check/
Let me know if you find a conflict with another plugin or the theme.
Hi,
Just following up here.
Did you still need help here?
I’m happy to help and look into this further for you.
Hi Rick,
Now I want to update the php version. So far , nothing has helped , Health Check suggests updating php
Updating php helped, everything works. But now the Credit Card Info field is not displayed. If I slow down the load speed, I see that they disappear
PayPal accounts that are connected to the PayPal Commerce Platform (and have the permissions set to display card fields directly on the page) are the accounts that will display the fields directly on the page.
All other types of accounts instead have the button that opens in a modal to accept cards. This is based on support for PPCP on a per-country basis, and is controlled by PayPal.
To test if this is the case, try using a different form template such as Legacy or Multi-step and check if the credit card fields show up there.
This was solved via our Priority Support forum.
For anyone else who runs into this issue, disconnect and reconnect to Paypal.
