    Hi lross_admin

Thanks for reporting this. Extremely busy with a new family member at the moment, so unfortunately I won’t be capable of providing in depth support for a while.

On the basis that I haven’t updated the plugin for months and no one else has mentioned this so far, I’d probably first look at your data before suspecting a problem in the code.

Try reducing your import file to one row with minimal columns. Does it still happen? Occasionally, users have reported unusual issues and it was ultimately caused by some non-printing characters that had crept into the text (via cut and paste).

The other thing to understand is that the file first needs to be uploaded to the server, and then stage two involves attempting to read that file via AJAX calls. If your server permissions prevent upload of the file, then the script may be attempting to read a non existent file.

Hope that helps, and sorry in advance if it doesn’t!

    Best wishes

Hello Paul, and thanks for your response.
I found a blank row in my sheet, deleted it and that seemed to solve the problem.
After doing that I tried importing new posts using the blank wp_ID field, and received the same error. I then tried a clean sheet with blank wp_ID field and received the same error.

Is there another way to get fresh posts imported using WP CSV? It’s a really great plug-in.

    Cheers

    Hi lross_admin

    Thanks!

There’s a chance that version 1.7.7 will help with this problem. If not, then please contact me via my website so that we can get this resolved.

    Best wishes

    Paul
