• Hey! Just got the same issue. I tried to inactivate all plugins, change my theme and manually reinstall WordPress from myPHP, but the issue remains. Nothing works, and I’m worried I might have destroyed something beyond repair. Starting to panic over here.

    My domain is whinar.se, and this is all that’s visible right now:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ”; ‘ (T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING), expecting ‘)’ in /customers/6/9/6/whinar.se/httpd.www/wp-settings.php on line 31

    I also tried to edit that specifik line in the document affected, but the issue remains…

    I split this to a new thread.

    Anyhow, DO NOT EDIT CORE FILES. Have you previously edited that file?

    I noticed that, thank you! πŸ™‚

    I have never edited that file before, no. I actually did edit it just now, before writing my post below the other thread you were replying in. I tried to remove the unexpected ; and replace it with a ), but nothing happened.

    What do you have for line 31 of that file? I have

    require( ABSPATH . WPINC . '/version.php' );

    This is what I have on line 31:

    $ff .= substr(pack(‘H*’, sha1($fa.$ff.$fe)), 0, $n)

    You’ve been hacked.

    Remain calm and carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

    If you’re unable to clean your site(s) successfully, there are reputable organizations that can clean your sites for you. Sucuri and Wordfence are two.

    Oh lord… Thank you for your help.
