Page cache of disk: enhanced 404s all posts

Setting page cache method to disk: enhanced (recommended!) results in all posts 404ing.

Setting it to disk: basic fully resolves the issue.

Version 2.8.4

Other plugins we have: Classic Editor, Disqus, Timber, User Role Editor, Yoast Duplicate Post, Yoast SEO, WP Mail SMTP

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!
Disk: Basic invokes a PHP script instead of serving cached pages using the server’s URL rewriting capabilities, skipping PHP entirely.
There may be a problem with the rewrite rules. Can you please share the website URL and if you are using Nginx or apache?

Can you also pleas check this pull request:

If possible, update the file with these changes, make sure tha the Disk Enhaced is enabled and restart the nginx

We use the bitnami/wordpress container, which uses apache.

I don’t need the disk enhanced cache method, I’m merely telling you about a frustrating bug that makes me want to stop using this plugin. Try to reproduce it with the bitnami container. If you cannot, I will help more.
