Hi there,
Sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the ticket stock! I will try to help you get this sorted.
Can you tell me if any of the orders had multiple tickets added? We are aware of an issue when users click the “continue shopping” link on the paypal page, and add more tickets before checking out.
Also, if you look at the timing on the orders, were the last few orders placed within a very close time frame?
Thanks,
Sky

All attendees ordered 2 tickets.
Here are the exact order times:

January 28, 2020 at 7:24:32 AM PST
January 28, 2020 at 7:20:06 AM PST
January 28, 2020 at 6:39:38 AM PST
January 28, 2020 at 6:34:03 AM PST
January 28, 2020 at 6:32:22 AM PST
January 27, 2020 at 3:50:28 PM PST
Oversold/Refunded order:
January 28, 2020 at 8:45:17 AM PST
I’m checking with my client to see if there were any other oversold. I thought there were four, but def the one listed which seems to be much later than the last order so I don’t think the issue has to do with timing of people ordering over each other.

Hey Sky, haven’t heard anything in a while. Any thoughts on this? Thanks.
Hi again,
Sorry for the long delay in responding! We take turns on the .org forums, and it doesn’t appear anyone else has been by since.
This could be related to your settings in Events > Settings > Tickets > Stock Handling.
If you have it set to wait until receiving confirmation from PayPal, there can be a delay before the stock is adjusted. To avoid this, try setting to “Decrease available ticket stock as soon as a Pending order is created”
Let us know if that helps!
Best,
Sky

We’ve tried changing that setting to what you suggest with no luck. Do you have other suggestions?
I removed the cache plugin we were using in hopes that maybe cacheing was storing old settings. I’m hoping that will make a difference.
Hi again,
It looks like there is an open ticket for this. I have attached this support thread to the bug ticket, and we will follow up with you here as soon as we have any news.
FWIW, this only seems to be happening with the “Tribe Commerce” option. If you have the ET+ plugin, you might look into switching over to WooCommerce instead.
Thanks,
Sky
