Sounds like you don’t need encryption, but anonymous addresses. Look at how GitHub does it, using [email protected] for Cc, and notifications@github for the From field. The Reply-To field has a hash to figure out the right address.
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
That doesn’t work.
I have a ‘to’ email address and ‘from’ email address box, no Cc. (isn’t cc my admin email by default?) not sure.
Anyway, whatever I put in those boxes, it still lists the email address of the person responding to the ad as the sender, as well as their email address in the body of the email- ie, from {{username}} {{email}}
But when I look under ‘message body text’, in my plugin settings, it simply says,’ Someone has responded to your ad’.
This shows up in the email send by the user to the lister, along with username, email, message body- things that aren’t in the ‘message body’ box settings.
I tried after ‘someone has responded to your Ad’ , and that just removes the entire message body.
So:
1.
How do I stop the senders email being displayed in the body of the email text?
2. How do I stop their email showing up in the ‘from’ section, or at all?
3. How or where do I locate the section where its telling the plugin’ or WordPress’ to include username, email, etc, in the message body, so I can delete it and replace it with something else?
Please advise.
Thanks
Nico

And Could cf7 be telling my other plugin to include username email address etc?
