• Hey! I have a problem with Origin Extension – it simply doesn’t work (after clicking on attachment link, it redirects me back to wp-admin). The problem is probably caused because I store my images in subdomain (my site is example.com, and my images are hosted on subdomain.example.com).

How can I fix it? I’m planning to buy Essential plan but before I do that, I need to fix Origin extension – it’s super important to me.

    Can you please help me?

    Thanks,
    Kacper

    Hi Kacper,

The extension brought with the version on WordPress.org only redirects attachment pages, not attachment URLs. It also shouldn’t redirect you back to the admin dashboard, and I think another plugin or Apache rule is doing that.

Moreover, the extension is only active on your site, and it doesn’t run on the website where you’ve hosted the images. This disengagement means that it can’t interact with the URLs, and you’ll have to set up rules on the subdomain (or CDN) to achieve this.

I hope this clears things up! 🙂

I downloaded Extension Manager from your website. Actually I meant attachment pages. I noticed that some images work well, but other don’t recognize parent post.

The ones that are broken redirect me back to WP-admin.

I deactivated all the plugins except TSF And TSFEM but the issue stands still. Any ideas how to fix it? 🙂

    Hi Kacper,

Your reply got lost in my backlogs! 🙁

I wonder that when you deactivate the Origin extension… does this issue still occur?

If so, then there might’ve been an incorrect redirect value set in the SEO Settings of the attachment; which is strange, because I’ve blocked autofill for these fields.
