OneSignal’s Update Caused Error

    Hi Murali, all things were working fine, but after OneSignal made a mandatory update to simplify their plugin, there’s error (thought the Push Notifications were sent normally) but there’s error shown & an alert inside the PNFPB saying OneSignal isn’t installed (though it’s installed)
    The error causes the login of users & registration to the make blank page….Now I turned OneSignal off to avoid that…so please it’s urgent. Help me.

    New version released today to fix those problems. It will fix those errors and compatible with latest version of onesignal sdk except below thing. Please clear your all caches, website cache, cdn cache after updating to new version for your website. I have tested in my test site, it is working fine.

    I have also found one more thing related to latest version of onesignal sdk, external id (userid) is not uploading to onesignal dashboard using latest version due to onesignal.coreDirector not found which is related to onesignal sdk. Today I have reported to onesignal helpdesk and i have also reported this to ceo of onesignal. Same issue is reported to onesignal in github also, i think we need to wait for onesignal to fix those errors (https://github.com/OneSignal/OneSignal-Website-SDK/issues/1202), it will affect one to one notifications based on userids only for new users, for users who are already subscribed one to one notifications will work. If there is delay from onesignal then there is one more alternate way using REST API onesignal, i will try to modify the code to have alternate approach using onesignal REST API if onesignal delays in resolving websdk onesignal.login problem to upload externalid.
