    Hi robertabela

I have installed and configured this plugin in my multi-setup environment and I face one issue as below.

I have 2 sub-sites and all are restricted as able to access after login only. have some users are assigned in multiple portals like users1 is have as admin in subportal1 and subportal2 both.

Before configure this plugin when I login in subportal1 and after login successfully, when I open subportal2, It’s opened because I am already logged-in. But after configuring this plugin it’s asked me again to login in subportal2.

Is there any way to access subportal2 after login in subportal one only? its getting issue after configuring this plugin. If I do not use this plugin, It’s working fine.

Can you please confirm as this is not functionality in this plugin currently? Or anything else from my side?

    Thanks!

    Lax P

    Sorry for the delay @laxman-prajapati

We are running a series of tests to better understand how this should work and how to better understand how we should support the multisite network.

Just to confirm, from your end, once you are logged in to the network you expect that you are authenticated, so you should not be asked for the 2FA code when switching between sites, right?

Also, when switching between sites, are you asked to log in and provide a 2FA code, or you’re just asked for the 2FA code?

    Hi @robert681

    Thanks for the update.

True, Whenever I log in to the network site or any sub-portal site, the First time it will ask for login with 2FA, After logged-in succesfullly, If I switch to any sub-site, Then it should not ask again for login or 2FA.

    Hello @laxman-prajapati

Quick question; are you a super admin on the network?

So if you are a superadmin, as a precaution the plugin always asks you for the 2FA code. However, if you are not a superadmin, the plugin does not ask you for the 2FA code when switching between websites.

Can you please confirm the above?

    Hi @robert681

Thanks for the update. My update here is as below:

I have tested as If I am an Administrator user role in two sub-sites and If I log in first time in one sub-site, It will ask me for login, 2FA that is ok and needed and works but after login in first sub-site I switch to the second sub-site, It’s again asking me for a login and 2FA which is not needed.

Please test it and share your thoughts.

    Thanks!
