Not working on WP5.9

This doesn’t seem to work at all on WP 5.9.
We’ve got a bunch of custom taxonomies. I’ve set them all to be enabled for ordering in the plugins settings page.
I drag & drop taxonomies to re-order them in edit-tags.php page but if I reload the page the order resets to alphabetical. The change in order isn’t reflected on the sites fronted or anywhere else in the admin either.

I have updated to wp 5.9.1
Ordering of terms is lost and reordering does not work, reloading the term page all terms are set alphabetically.
Will this issue be fixed by the plugin’s update or WP’s update or not fixed at all?
On the ticket for this issue: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/54902 it is mentioned that it is fixed on wp 5.9.1, but the plugin’s ordering still has the issue.
