    Hi!
I use Dobby on different sites, always as an admin. That’s why i never noticed, until now, that Dobby isn’t actually working for custom roles generated via third plugins. I created a custom admin role, but Dobby is nowhere to see for that user.
I use User Role Editor and/or WPFront User Role Editor but not even by disabling the plugins, Dobby would work.
Or is it possible that Dobby isn’t working in IE browers, where i’m testing the other role?
    Thanks!

    Hi there.

Dobby doesn’t care about users, user roles, capabilities etc. so yes, it could be IE. That said, I wouldn’t know why, though, as I am only using some simple jQuery DOM methods.

However, if your IE does not allow JavaScript at all (which would mean that also other parts of your WordPress backend should be broken), this will certainly result in Dobby not working at all.

hi! IE allows JS, I test websites on all browsers each time (but frontend only)

I just tested as that problem user in Chrome backend, and Dobby is working fine there, so it’s the IE after all 😉
