• I was totally unimpressed with this plugin. It certainly was not aesthetic. The UI wasn’t all that intuitive because I kept getting two buttons when I only wanted one, of course. I think people would much better off just using “custom text” widget and pasting the code from PayPal, then spiffing it up with a bit of css.

Sorry to hear that. I believe some of your concerns could be solved by reaching out for support. Often a theme is what prevents the forms from looking aesthetically pleasing, and if you browse our support tickets you’ll find we’re very responsive.

While a PayPal button suffices for simple needs, most nonprofit organizations want something more full-featured, which is exactly what Give is and exactly what the majority of our users are very happy with. But everyone is entitled to their opinion, and no one plugin can be a perfect fit for everyone.

If you want to give us another shot, feel free to ask me any questions and I’d be happy to help you achieve whatever goals you have for your online donations. I’m certain Give can get it done for you. Thanks!
