The IP address 77.75.78.165 is in a range of IP addresses that Wordfence does not block.

    Any reason?

Hi @phpnukes, thanks for getting in touch.

Are you having issues with manually blocking this IP to receive a specific error from Wordfence, or do you feel that it is breaking rules you have set such as Rate Limiting or Brute Force but the plugin is not blocking it?

Any error messages or Live Traffic information you have around this would be useful to help you out.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

This is the message I receive when attempting to block the ip manually via
    Customised blocking.

I have via under tools – traffic selected the block button and it produces this
    Error message.
The IP address 77.75.78.165 is in a range of IP addresses that wordfence does not block.

    It goes on about
Maybe internal or belong to a service safe to allow access for.

Wordfence blocked Prague, Czechia visits my robot.txt
I have a top level domain
    This bot hostname: fulltextrobot-77-75-78-165.seznam.cz

Wordfence is not stopping me block this ip in fact I really need only visits from the U.K. only. So this country needs to be blocked anyway.

Sounds odd unable to block this bot

    Hi @phpnukes,

When you mention needing to block the country, does that mean that you have this feature available as a Premium Wordfence customer? If so, I recommend opening a support ticket at https://support.wordfence.com. They will be able to assist you faster and more efficiently.

However, if I’ve misunderstood and that’s not the case, I’m still happy to provide you with extra information. Seznam Bot is in our list of potentially allowed bots, as this is a Czechia based search engine and accesses your site much in the way that Google does. You can actually remove this from the list by unchecking “Seznam Search Engine” under Wordfence > All Options > Advanced Firewall Options > Allowlisted services. Having this unchecked may then have the desired effect as it should no longer be immune to blocking.

    Thanks again,

    Peter.
