Hey,
This functionality exists already. On the Settings page under Options it’s the very first setting: “Redirect all unhandled 404s to:”. Just type the name of the page you want it to redirect to and then choose the page. In your case maybe type “british” and the page will appear.

Hi,
Thanks for the swift response, appreciated
So you’re saying that non-existent URLs such as :
site.com/tag/british-humour-films/page/3/
Will it check and detect if it does not exist and then redirect it to :
site.com/tag/british-humour-films/
Is that correct?
Many Thanks

Yes. That’s one of the purposes of the plugin.
Hi,
Forgive me, but I can’t see how it is able to redirect from :
Example ….
site.com/tag/british-humour-films/page/3/
to :
site.com/tag/british-humour-films/
Maybe I’m missing something?

Did you set the setting on the Options page? You can take a screeshot and include it here if you like. If you set the settings then it should just work.
Hi,
Thanks for that π
I tried redirection Plugin but you have to manually have to do this which is pain for hundreds of bad urls.
As I said,
Here is a typical example of a non-existant page :
site.com/tag/british-humour-films/page/3/
Redirect to :
site.com/tag/british-humour-films/
So your saying your plugin catches these and will redirect as shown above?
May Thanks/
