No way to dismiss admin message

I was updating some plugins today and had an admin message on my dashboard telling me I needed to update my dropbox apis. Two of the jobs on the list didn’t use dropbox to I “fixed” the one that did but there was no way to dismiss the admin message. I believe this is against WordPress policy concerning what can be displayed on the dashboard as an admin message.

I ended up having to deactivate the plugin
