no subscription form

Hello
I am considering the purchase of what appears to be an awesome plugin.
The thing is I cant find where I can design a subscription form.
I read the doc but there is no “newsletter –> subscription form” with my installation.

Newsletters>Subscribe Form is only available in the PRO version of this plugin.

You can add a subscribe form in the lite version with a shortcode, widget or hardcode.

Thank you for your answer but i’m still not sure I understand.
Does that mean that you can’t design a subscription form unless you purchase the pro version ?
Where can I find / change the predefined forms ?
Sorry to insist but I would like to be sure of that before the payment.

You can still design and customize the subscribe form but the subscribe forms interface is a specific feature to the Pro version not available to this free version.

To create a form, basically go to Newsletters > Mailing Lists where you can edit a list and attach custom fields to it. Under Newsletters > Custom Fields, you can order the fields in the order you want them. Then add a widget, shortcode or hardcode for that mailing list specifically. Further you can style the form with CSS or edit the template file as well if needed.

sorry for the delay
I’ve tried your advice but, unfortunately, adding a custom field also seems to be only available in the PRO VERSION.
I guess I’ll have to pay before trying …

Hello.
I’ve bought the plugin and I must say it’s awesome. Easy to use, well documented. My “subscription form” question has been solved with the options now avalible. Was worth the risk / price 🙂

PS : the only thing now is that the “send preview” does not work any more (for 2 days). I don’t know if I shall wait for a new release fixing that little bug or if I should open a new subject on this forum.
