This may happen if your site is no longer correctly connected to WordPress.com. I would recommend that you go to Jetpack > Dashboard in your WordPress dashboard, and disconnect then reconnect your site to your WordPress.com account.
If that doesn’t help, you’ll want to make sure there are no code snippets you may have added to your site that may impact the display of post views.

It works now after the reconnection. But, for the record, before my question to you I had deactivated Jetpack to turn it on again. It didn’t help. So, I actually tried to restart it.
