I do not have settings option. No scan option. I’ve tested it on a fresh instal off wordpress, wocoomerce at latest versions. I got this deprecated maybe it helps Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property WCPP_Visibility_Controller::$additional_skus is deprecated in /home/twisted/newwoo/wp-content/plugins/pickingpal-for-woocommerce/includes/class-wcpp-visibility-controller.php on line 35

@organu – There are no settings or configuration options for Lite. “Additional Skus” is not a feature of Lite either, so I’m not exactly clear why you may be getting that error.

For Lite, you simply need to add barcode label values to either the native SKU or GTIN fields for each product/variation, then you should be able to load an order and scan the line items.

Can you please copy/paste or upload a System Report — WooCommerce > Status > Get System report so I can take a closer look at how your system is configured.

Also, please take a screenshot of your PickingPal screen and upload it here. We’ll get to the bottom of the issue easy enough!

Look forward to hearing back from you!

this ia a random order. I have ean codes for each product. I don’t see the scan option. Thank you!

@organu – You have to scroll up on that screen. When you load and order in PickingPal on a mobile phone, the first thing you should see is something like this.

The cursor will be blinking in the Product SKU field — ready to scan.

(Note: WordPress.org is not uploading my images, so the link will take you to a screenshot)

If you don’t see that top part of the screen, and you’re scrolled all the way up, then something is cutting off the PickingPal view in your install — maybe a plugin or theme conflict.

I’m not sure what you mean that it’s not working on mobile phone.

Is your barcode scanner connected or paired with your mobile phone? You need to have a barcode scanner connected/paired with the device you are using PickingPal on.

So: mobile phone with a paired/connected barcode scanner should work, if the barcode scanner is connected to the mobile device correctly.

Please see our FAQs for more information on using PickingPal from a mobile phone:

With barcode scanner connected via usb on pc is working. I thought that i can scan directly with my phone camera, no barcode scanner needed.

Quoting from plugin description “PickingPal Lite Features ….. Mobile Friendly – Use on handheld devices such as tablets & mobile phones”. Doesn’t say that i need a barcode scanner connected or paired with my phone. I thought that you use html5-qrscanner or something simmilar.

@organu – Sorry for any confusion — PickingPal can be used on a mobile, but it does currently require a connected/paired barcode scanner. I’ll update the information here on wordpress.org to make sure there is no confusion here, but on our main website, we have that information shown.

Scanning with a phone camera is generally pretty slow and cumbersome, so we’ve not looked into supporting camera-based scanning. Bluetooth barcode scanners are pretty inexpensive and very fast/efficient.

I’ll add mobile camera support into our feature request queue and have our dev look into html5-qrscanner (or similar). Thanks!
