    I have a serious problem with my page. It is not possible anymore to save an article or to publish anything. Even if I go onto the preview page there is an error message. I already deactivated all plugins and tried it with a new theme without success. I would like to avoid to make a fully new setup, so is there any alternate?

    I think there comes an error from your hosting-server. Which error it is might be visible for you in the error.log of your hosting OR in the developer-tools of your browser.

    Additional: you have the Site Health Plugin active. Did you tried its “Troubleshoot”-mode? There all plugins will be disabled and you could check which one is responsible.

    I tried the “Troubleshoot-mode” and the only error published was an update-failure with the plugins – However the problem is not solved and the system is still down / no improvement.

    Try to follow the Debugging in WordPress-notes to find the reason for it. It might be a problem on your hosting-system.
