    Hello,

I am currently hosting my website on WP Engine, which already includes built-in performance and caching features.

Before activating NitroPack, I would like to clarify:

    1. Will NitroPack work alongside WP Engine’s existing optimization system, or will there be conflicts?
    2. Does NitroPack override WP Engine’s caching and performance settings?
    3. If both are active, which system takes priority?
    4. Do you recommend disabling any WP Engine features before enabling NitroPack?

I want to ensure optimal performance without duplication or conflicts.

    Thank you for your support.

    Hey Nik,

I’m glad to see you’re interested in using NitroPack. Before I address your questions, I want to mention that WP Engine acquired NitroPack in 2024, so the two systems should work smoothly together.

Here’s a breakdown of how they interact:

    1. NitroPack works out of the box with WP Engine’s platform, including their built‑in caching.
    2. NitroPack does not override WP Engine’s settings, but adds an additional layer of optimization (minification, compression, image optimization, CDN, etc.).
    3. Both systems operate together without conflicts, and NitroPack’s optimization layer takes care of front‑end performance.
    4. No WP Engine features need to be disabled before enabling NitroPack — the default setup works well.

For the best possible results, once you activate NitroPack, feel free to reach out to our team at [email protected]. We can review your setup and ensure everything is configured optimally for your website.

    Best,
Plamen Hristanov, Head of Customer Experience at NitroPack
