Hi @eir3apps,
Let’s first check to see if there is a plugin conflict happening. Temporarily deactivate all plugins, then reactivate NextGEN Gallery only. Does the issue still appear? If so, temporarily switch to a WordPress default theme (this deactivation is only intended to quickly check to see if the issue goes away or is still present). If by deactivating the other plugins the issue does go away, reactivate each of the other plugins one at a time to locate the culprit. Keep me posted on your results 🙂

Hi Mihai,
thanks for your response! I deactivated all the plug-ins even before I wrote, but it didn’t occur to me that the theme could be the problem! Only when switching to a new theme did the NextGen Gallery plug-in started to work! It’s strange to me, because the theme was used from the very beginning of the site, alongside your plug-in.
Do you have any suggestions how could I debug this problem and fix it?
You can see in the link that I posted the source code of the page, maybe that could give you a hint why the problem is occuring.
Thank you!
Hi @eir3apps
Check your logs
Perhaps you can enable “WordPress debug mode” on your site and check the logs afterward.
Here are some instructions about how to enable them: https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress. I usually enable debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file, it’s easy to check.
Please, keep us posted.

Hi Gaby,
how would the WP PHP debugging help me debug this visual problem? As you could clearly see from the page source, the NGG code is loaded, alongside the images, and as I have stated, just changing the theme makes the galleries show properly.
On top of that I cannot skip the freemius.com tracking.
Much easier is to just switch to another gallery plugin.
Hi @eir3apps
Yes, WordPress debug might show messages in your debug.log file.
That file contains information: errors, a warning message that might allow you to troubleshoot your WordPress site (in that particular case, the problem with your theme).
We are sorry that it didn’t work for you, thank you so much for giving NextGen Gallery a tried.
