Needs Correction | Error Message for Checkbox and Radio Button

    Good Day,

    The Error Message for both the Checkbox and Radio Buttons needs to be corrected.

    Currently, it says: “Please select at least one option.”
    Should say: “This field is required.”

    Affected File: /mailpoet/lib/form/block/BlockRendererHelper.php
    Affected Line: Line 81

    Reason: Many sites have a Privacy Policy statement with only ONE checkbox or radio button (example). So, when omitted, the statement “Please select at least one option.” does not make sense. The statement “This field is required.” covers all cases (single or multiple checkboxes or radio buttons).

    Result: Much Better!

    Hi there,

    Apologies for the late reply.

    I have just checked this with the developers again. While we understand the relevance of this issue and we are grateful for the feedback that you provided; it seems that this is not amongst our top priorities right now, and so we can’t offer an ETA for this feature request.

    Since we won’t be likely updating this thread soon I will close it now. Please keep an eye on the MailPoet changelog to review the features included in the new releases.

    Hey @danielinhou,

    Bummer. It only takes 5 minutes to update the noted file, merge it with your trunk, then released it with your next plugin revision — which usually happens every two weeks. Not sure why you guys are complicating this so much.
