Need Help Setting Up the Plugin

    Hi there!

    I just installed the plugin after giving up Instant Articles for WP, and I need some help with its overall setup.

    1. I have already configured the settings and tried to update one of my previous Instant Articles posts. But when I checked the said article in my Facebook page, I can see that it’s still not Instant Article format. Did I miss something?

    2. I have added a few custom rules in the other plugin. Does LH also support this feature?

    What is the url of your instant article feed?

    Have you added this feed as your production feed?

    I am not sure how facebook handles artciles already in the facebook instant article ecosystem btw as I have never migrated from another plugin.

    Not what you mean by custom rules, what are you trying to achieve? As u said I built my plugin as I could not get the others to work properly and have added a few features since.

    Hey, thanks for your feedback.

    As for my first question, don’t worry, I got it all working already. What I did was simply re-publish the article in Facebook (under Publishing Tools).

    For my question #2, I had this issue before with Instant Articles for WP wherein whenever I added an anchored image in my posts, I would always get an error message that says, “No rules defined for .” What I did as a fix was to add a custom transform rule that would go through the content of links containing images like if they weren’t there, thus only process the images within. This is what I meant by custom rules. I was wondering if you happen to support this kind of feature.

    Howdy I am unfamiliar with the rules you speak of?

    The feed The plugin creates seems to validate as valid instant article markup (at least in my own tests and use) and it does handle images within anchors.

    If there is an example of non conformance please send me the feed URL and I’ll run it through the test tool that Facebook provides…
