Hi there, and thank you for this great plugin. I am in a position in which I can only use Square with the multivendor store I set up with the WC Marketplace plugin. Unfortunately, shortly after the sale is processed via Square, the money is sent to my bank account so I’m unable to pay out commissions to my vendors. Is there a way to hold this money until it can be paid out to my vendors? Can Square do that?

    Thank you!

    Hi @bananacream,

This isn’t something that is within the control of the plugin, as such, you’ll want to speak to the folks over at Square.

Square typically pays out funds from your Square account into your connected bank account within 2 business days. If you want them to delay that payout, they’d be the ones to speak to.

If the funds are already in your bank account, I don’t see why you don’t initiate the transactions from your bank account. I’m not sure how you’d do that through Square in the first place since Square allows you to collect payment not disburse it.

    Hey @bananacream,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

I apologize for not responding; thank you for your response. Square is just not a viable payment gateway for a multivendor website; I agree that this is no fault of the plugin. Distributing funds directly from one’s bank account is complicated in a multivendor scenario. Switching to Paypal. Thank you for your attention to this!
