No, it is not possible to hide menus on all sites except one. However, what you could do is hide them from everyone except yourself by setting the “Required capability” field to “super_admin”. This way you would still be able to access them (on any site) but other users would not.

Thanks for the response. Where do I go to make the setting change?

Ok, I found the setting, but it doesn’t seem to have an effect. I changed the Required Capability to Super Admin, but the menu item still disappears from the menu even if i’m logged in. Am I doing something wrong?

Is the menu a top level menu or a submenu? If you’re trying to set the permissions for an entire top level menu (e.g. “Plugins”) you may need to update permissions for its submenus as well to make it visible.

I tried that. I’m signed in as Super Admin, and I tried to change the Plugins top level menu to “This item is hidden” (and the same for the submenu items) and then changed the Required Capability to Super Admin, and it still disappears.

Ah, so you used the “Hide” button? That’s probably not what you want in this case since it hides the menu from everyone. If you want to hide a menu from certain users or roles, use the capability field.

I did try that too, but still not working. Could it be because i’m trying to do this in WP Multisite?

No, it should work in Multisite as well. Are you sure you didn’t hide the menu(s) from everyone (as indicated by the grey puzzle-piece icon)?

Hmm. Still not working. But don’t worry about it. I’ve decided to work around it another way.

    Thanks for your help.
