Mostly Great

This plugin is mostly perfect. It lets you easily add an icon to your menus. I took off one star for two reasons. First, it offers an SVG option for your icons but it just puts the SVG in as an image. Since it’s an SVG it would be great to have the option to do the SVG inline. That way it can be styled using CSS. There is a function I found to achieve this but it should be built into the plugin. Second, the plugin adds a section to the Dashboard page that is basically useless and there is no way to remove it. The plugin author is just promoting his blog posts that have nothing to do with the plugin. I don’t think that is right and might even be in violation of the developer guidelines for plugins. There should at least be a way to remove the section. Other than those two issues, the plugin is useful.
