Mobile App auth Two-Factor does not work

    Hi there,

    After installing Solid Security basic and trying to activate the two-factor Mobile App method I see following screen: https://ibb.co/GQd0PmcC

    After I was successful in activating it – as you can see – I can only skip the 2-FA step and not continue. I use Microsoft’s Authenticator for authentication.

    But if I go with the Email method everything seems to work well.

    Can you help fixing the issue?

    Hi Rob,

    Glad you reached out to us!

    At this point, Solid Security does not allow you to select the Mobile App method as the sole active 2FA method. This is a precautionary measure in case you’d lose access to your mobile or when this method gets invalid.

    Kindly activate a second 2FA method to go with Mobile App so that you can proceed with the 2FA Onboarding process.
