Good Morning,

The total number of documents for a group has disappeared from the Doc’s tab. could someone point me in the right direction so I can fix this issue. Right now a user doesn’t know if there are any docs assciated with a group. The Member tab still says 30 members, but docs doesn’t have a count.

One more note I’m running buddy docs 2.0.1. I found some documentation here:https://dev.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2012/11/15/buddypress-docs-1-2/ for the lastest upgrade. I don’t remember doing anything special or seeing any notifications. Also under a members tab group the document tab doesn’t have any counts. I’m begining to think I missed something in the plugin update. Please advise.

Hi @pandraka-

The function that provided the count was not reliable, so it was removed in BP Docs 1.3. There’s been some talk about breathing new life into it, but nothing has been done so far. Thank you for your answer. Do you think it would be possible just to indicate there are doc’s with a paperclip icon?

Hi @pandraka-

Not really at the moment. You’d have to run a very expensive query and loop to determine if there are any docs, which is part of why the count hasn’t been reenabled.
