missing jquery and fancybox not working with autoptimize

    Hello, I have an issue on my website with fancybox not working because of autoptimize plugin that is deferring load of jquery.js so the fancybox script doesn’t find it at page load, as you can see with an F12 on the linked page.

    Is there any workaround to let it work (apart from excluding jquery from the deferred JS)?

    Hi, is there an option to move jQuery to the footer instead of deferring? If so, try that. It will still improve “above the fold” page load time without breaking jQuery dependent scripts like FancyBox.

    If FancyBox still does not work then, you can find the option “Script priority” in the Compatibility section on Settings > Media. Set the value to a higher number to move the FancyBox scripts further down the footer, hopefully right after jQuery…
