    Hello!

first, congratulations for this great plugin and great support.

We are facing some problems with the LS Crawler. We have configured it, disabled WP_CRON and enabled a CRON at the server to fire wp cron. Crawler seems to run fine, but the thing is that after a run has finished, all pages appear with blue or green circle and, after a while, pages start to report a “miss”, so page load speed decrease. We are unable to find the culprit and need some advice to try to isolate or find the problem

We have made some test with no post add/edit, no page edit, nothing, but we don’t know why, after some time, page are report as miss.

Here we have some debug info to try to help.

if you finish a small sitemap , then immediately check it , does it give you cache hit ?

at least this will narrow down or indicate, if crawler itself is working or not

    Hi!

Yes, after crawler has finished if I visit site in incognito window everything is very fast and ‘hit’ appears on response headers. But afters a while, maybe an hour or so, I start to get “miss” in the same pages with no updates on admin site. So, it seems that crawler itself is working, but for some reason, pages started to be considered “uncached” …. I’ve reviewed log but unable to find the culprit.

by any chance, is this a shared hosting ? or you host multiples sites under same vhost user?

It’s a VPS where we have multiple sites, and, in this case there are multiple WP installations with LS Plugin and the Crawler enabled under the same vhost user. I think is the same user because i don’t haver direct access to the server, but i’m almost sure.

    Could it be a problem?

there is a more “robust” purge , called empty entire cache that may take place under certain condition , as result , it will wipe the cache of entire vhost user’s cache , not only to the site that initiate itself

like you have 10 sites hosts under same vhost user , 1 of them launched this robust purge, it will clean up the rest 9’s cache as well .

¿Is there any way to check this looking some log file? ¿Is this “empty entire cache” launched automatically when updating plugin or theme?

yes , it could be triggered by updating plugin/theme from other site

you need to enable debug log to all of sites if you want to check that purge , it’s not really practical option though , we shall have this improved in future release
