We just updated from 2.6.1 to 2.7 & noticed the site wasn’t having any CSS applied. After doing some hunting the /wp-content/cache/minify/ folder had no CSS / JS files in it, it’s like they weren’t getting saved at all.

The frontend was still requesting the minified CSS / JS files, network inspector showed them loading with no content, instead of 404ing like they probably should have.

For now we’ve rolled back to 2.6.1 & things are working again but we’re a little concerned as we use W3TC on a ton of sites,

    Hello @reallydeej

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!
Have you cleared minify and also purged all cache once you updated to the latest version?
Can you please share the website URL so I can check those files and the fronted?

    Thanks!

Cleared all caches (as we do any time we update any plugins), made no difference. Can’t share the URL publicly & we also had to roll back to 2.6.X to make things work again, can’t leave a client production site with no CSS / JS loading for an undetermined amount of time. It was a cPanel environment so that may have something do to with it but we’ve also had no problems at all with W3TC in that environment until this latest version.

    Hello @reallydeej

Have you tried disabling Minify and see if the problem persist and then re-enabling it again?

Can you please make a backup opf the configuration file and re-install the fresh version of the W3 Total Cache?

    Thanks!
