• Background: I am rebuilding a website for my wife’s company. I am using a staging site to do the rebuild until I go live and replace the existing website. The existing site (and the staged copy) use Yoast SEO (free).

I am trying to set up Slim SEO to take over the SEO duties, but when I try to migrate settings I get an error:

    SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<‘, “
There h”… is not valid JSON

    How do I fix this?

hi @proximitas , can you share with me some information:

    • What is your site language, version of your WordPress and plugins
    • Check the debug.log if any error

    Thank you !

    WP Version 6.9

    Plugins installed:

Black Studio TinyMCE Widget Version 2.7.3

    Blank Slate Version 1.2.1

    Classic Editor Version 1.6.7

    Duplicate Page Version 4.5.6

EasyMedia – Increase Media Upload Size Version 3.0.3

    Hummingbird Version 3.17.2

    Shortcodes Ultimate Version 7.4.7

    Slim SEO Version 4.8.0

    Smush Version 3.23.0

Social Icons & Sharing Buttons by WPZOOM Version 4.5.3

    UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore Version 1.25.9

    Yoast SEO Version 26.5

This is on a staging copy, many of the plugins will go away or be replaced with others, as well as a new theme and layout will be forthcoming. I wanted to get Slim SEO set up with data from Yoast prior to deleting Yoast.
