    Hi Trinity Audio team,

The Trinity Audio plugin is preventing posts from being saved in the WordPress Block Editor due to a JavaScript error in metaboxes.js.

    Error:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'getFormData')
        at metaboxes.js?ver=1975768264:9:61
        at metaboxes.js?ver=1975768264:15:62

    Environment:

    • WordPress: 6.8.3
    • Trinity Audio: 5.22.1
    • PHP: 8.3
    • Theme: Twenty Twenty-Five

    Steps to Reproduce:

    1. Activate Trinity Audio plugin
    2. Try to save/publish any post in the Block Editor
    3. Save fails with the error above

Impact: Posts cannot be saved while the plugin is active. Deactivating Trinity Audio resolves the issue immediately.

The error suggests the plugin is calling getFormData() on an undefined object. Please investigate this Block Editor compatibility issue.

    Thanks!

Thank you for reaching out and for providing detailed information about the error.

We’ve identified that the issue you encountered was related to a temporary AWS service outage that impacted our plugin’s functionality. The problem has since been resolved, and the plugin now works as expected.

That said, we’re implementing an additional fix in our next release to ensure that even in rare cases of service disruption, the plugin won’t block post saving or trigger JavaScript errors. This will make the plugin more resilient and fully compatible with the latest WordPress and PHP versions.

We appreciate your patience and your detailed report – it really helps us improve the reliability of Trinity Audio.

    Best regards,
    The Trinity Audio Team
