Menu Font Color
-
Good Morning,
Can you please share where to change the top menu font color? I found where to change the style but it does not seem to have an option on color. I also have Elementor and the ability to inspect the CSS and was to able to find that the font color is either struck out or not found.I feel it’s right in front of my nose, but with all of the customization options I get lost on where I found it originally. Thank you in advance for your time!

Try to experiment a bit with this custom css:
@media only screen and (min-width: 720px) { #nav-topbar .nav li a { color: blue; } #nav-topbar .nav li > a:hover, #nav-topbar .nav li:hover > a, #nav-topbar .nav li.current_page_item > a, #nav-topbar .nav li.current-menu-item > a, #nav-topbar .nav li.current-menu-ancestor > a, #nav-topbar .nav li.current-post-parent > a { color: green; } } @media only screen and (max-width: 719px) { #nav-topbar .nav li a { color: blue; } #nav-topbar .nav li > a:hover { color: blue; } #nav-topbar .nav li.current_page_item > a, #nav-topbar .nav li.current-menu-item > a, #nav-topbar .nav li.current-post-parent > a { color: green; } }Thank you for showing me where to find the CSS – my preference was to remember where/what widget or plugin that would allow me to change that. It’ really bugging me!
But in the meantime I’ve placed that CSS in the Simple Custom CSS section and published it. It worked just fine while in edit mode, but the change has not been seen yet on a live page.
Is there a reason there are 2 CSS sections?

The first section is for all screens above 720px, the second section is for the mobile menu (less than 720px wide). I included both if you wanted to change and keep them different.

Got any cache plugin active?

The change worked only when I used the “Additional CSS” section while in my theme customization, as it the section called “Simple CSS” was a test and Additional was the live version.
The only change I’m working to make is to make the font bold. In the past when I’ve worked in CSS I knew those codes but when I made a new line it did not like the use of text decoration or size.
Is there a new way to designate font style?
To make it bold, something simple like this should work:
#nav-topbar .nav li a { font-weight: bold; } -
