    Hi!

I’m using your Navigation menu widget in my website’s header (also built with UAE).

The dropdown menu of the last menu item is causing horizontal scrolling on the page. I can’t edit the dropdown width, even though I tried all of the settings. The text within the dropdown menu is much smaller than the current width. How can I fix this? Obviously, all the items need to be symmetrical and evenly distributed in the header.

Structure: the header is built with a Grid container in 3 columns. The third column has a container in it, with 2 navigation menu widgets (one for the main menu, one for the My Account/woocommerce menu).

Thank you in advance for your help, it’s really appreciated.

  • Hi @bbl6,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I checked your website and tested the dropdown menu on the last menu item, but I wasn’t able to see any horizontal scrolling on the page. Here’s a short screen recording for your reference: https://bsf.d.pr/v/K5gacV

Could you please check and confirm if the issue is now resolved on your end? If you’re still facing the problem, kindly share a bit more detail like the device or browser you’re seeing it on so we can take a closer look.

    Kind Regards,
    Ankush 🙂

    Hi Ankush,

thank you so much for your prompt reply!

I am experiencing the issue on desktop screens 15.6” and 14” wide. It shows both on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. https://snipboard.io/HrXkxm.jpg

(Before adding the User menu on the header, I had a simple Login button on the header. The issue started when I added the User menu.)

    Kind regards

Hi! Actually I had to rollback to the previous version, the one without dropdown menu, so the issue no longer exist! :’)

Bonus question though, are you going to implement a Shrink on scroll option for headers?

    Thanks!

    Hi @bbl6,

Thanks for the update and for sharing the screenshot!

    1. Regarding the scroll issue on 15.6” and 14” desktop screens since you’ve rolled back to the previous version, it’s great that the issue no longer appears. If you decide to try the dropdown version again and the issue comes back, please feel free to reach out to us here with the specific screen size, browser version, and any other helpful details so we can check it more closely.
    2. About your question on the “Shrink on Scroll” option that’s a great suggestion! While it’s not currently available, we do plan to add more advanced header features in a future update. Currently we are planing to add Sticky Header in the Pro version. You can get more update from the changelog here. I’ll make sure to pass your feedback along to the team.

I am marking this thread as resolved. If you need any help please feel free to get back to us. We’re happy to assist!

    Kind regards,
    Ankush
