menu colors not working desktop

Very recently (after the update) the menu colors for the desktop version are not working. Before, I had a grey box around each menu option so you could see what section you are clinking on, but now it is all just black. You would not know it’s there, unless you hover over the menu. I have tried changing colors of the header and such, but the menu is still invisible.
