    I have a lot of pictures and meanwhile I can’t find the pictures anymore, they are also scattered around and there is no correct sorting available. I would like an administration by means of or or at least categories. so that you can upload via ftp and the meda manager sees when new pictures are available or you can at least simply insert them.

    I don’t want to use galleries like nextgen anymore because I practically don’t use anything there.

    you can try WordPress media manager like https://wordpress.org/plugins/happyfiles/ to organise the pictures into virtual folders

    Thank you for the tip. Since I am private, my pages and plugins are free and I have already spent too much on everything, there is unfortunately no more budget. Though the price of $ 19 is very good for a lifetime. I have to think about it. Otherwise I’ll write a plugin, something simple, for myself where I can display the images from a folder. I’ve already started, but I’ll look at your suggestion again.
