Making sure WP data gets transferred

I’m the webmaster for a client. He currently has a site up (built in WP). I rebuilt his site on a testing server (different web address) to include more functions, plugins, etc. What do I need to do to make sure all my modifications made in the testing environment of WP are transferred to the existing one?
