I’d like to have my main menu open on page load then if user selects e.g. Social menu first gets hidden but when the user changes page/post have the main menu again open.

That only on desktop view, not on mobile!

Hi there, have a look at this thread which explains how to keep the menu in Sorbet open:

To restrict that to the desktop view only, put the relevant CSS within a media query. You can learn more about media queries here:
