MailPoet Stops Attachments via Contact Form 7
-
After the standard testing to track down problems in Woo (disable plugins, check debug.log and error_log, all software are in current version), MailPoet interferes with Contact Form 7 when a person tries to attach something to their message. It worked last year but is now broken.
Is there a remedy for this?

I’m not quite sure what type of interference we are talking about from MailPoet. Did you reach out to the developers of Contact Form 7 to see if they have any info to help you with this?
It would be great if you can tell us more about this problem.
Hello,
“Interfere” = attaching a file to a form breaks when you upload a file to the form.
MailPoet was disabled and attachments can be uploaded, and they are emailed to us. So, no, I didn’t contact Contact Form 7 because it works w/o MailPoet.
HTH!
Thank you for sharing additional information about the test you did. From what I understand it looks like you have compatibility problem between Contact Form 7 and MailPoet. Since this is not related to the plugin functionality itself and more about the compatibility issue. Please add this as a feature request in https://feedback.mailpoet.com/ This is where our developers look for future improvement of the plugin.
@mindykatzen Seems to be this older known issue with Mailpoet intercepting mail from WordPress and other plugins.
Try to use MailPoet > Settings > Advanced > Send all site emails with… > WordPress (default).
Attachments are not permitted
When sending transactional emails with MailPoet’s sending method, MailPoet does not include attachments in the emails that are sent because of bandwidth concerns and security implications with spam filters.

I hope you found the previous reply helpful. We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
The response of @ov3rfly works!
