MailPoet 2 and PHP 7.3

    Hi,

    Is there PHP 7.3 support for MailPoet 2? When I try to make a new newsletter, on the second stage when there is the editor, I see a blank page. When I go back to PHP 7.2 I can see that page just fine. So I’m wondering if MailPoet doesn’t support PHP 7.3?

    Hello @moshe1010 we’ve discontinued updates of MailPoet 2.

    Are you not using MailPoet because of right to left languages?

    Yes. It looked like RTL support isn’t great yet

    Thanks for confirming. We are hoping to look at RTL support in the future.

    Here is the fix:

    In the path: /wp-content/plugins/wysija-newsletters/helpers/render_engine.php

    Line 43:
    const _VAR = ‘([\$#])([\w-_\.]+)’;

    Replace with:
    const _VAR = ‘([\$#])([\w\-_\.]+)’;
