Magnifier Icon Click – Not working with ajax

Hello,

You helped me a while back to get ASL working with my ajax theme.
I recently enabled the option “Action when clicking the magnifier icon” to “redirect to search page”. For some reason this causes a reload/ajax to be ignored.

Do you know if there is something simple I can do to make the search page get loaded using ajax as all other pages in my site?
